Traveling for the holidays is something my family always looks forward to. There's no better way to close out the year than by hitting the road, singing holiday songs at the top of our lungs, spending time with family and friends, and eating delicious food.

My "simple moment" would be the chance to take back time to spend with our oldest girl, Nellie, who sadly passed away at the end of November.  She was just shy of her 15th birthday and was a trooper until the very end.  I'm sure she is having a grand old time in doggie heaven and can finally run again.  I miss her so much.  R.I.P. our sweet baby girl 😇

A Comforting LAVA Lamp Gift Idea

I grew up in the 70's and that meant we had a lava lamp.  I used to love watching it bubbling, even though the color was really ugly.  It had a yellowish color liquid with a pale red wax.  Even though it was so ugly I kept staring at it because they are so comforting to watch.
