Ending My Summer with Nair Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Remover

As Labor Day rings in the unofficial end of summer, I am dreaming about the cool weather and looking forward to less shaving.  Having to spend time on hair removal at least every other day is not only irritating and time consuming, but the cost adds up quickly.

I have been trying out three different products from the Nair hair removal line, which all have 100% natural Moroccan argan oil, known to moisturize and restore.  They also have orange blossom, which is known to soothe and hydrate.

The first one I tried was the Spray Away, which comes in a 7.5 oz. can and retails for $8.99.  According to the can, you can spray both right side up and upside down, making it easier to apply.  I noticed that it doesn't spray very well upside down, but it does ok.  It is also very slippery because of overspray, so make sure you are in the shower when applying (without water on), wait about four minutes and then proceed with bathing.  It is a lot quicker than shaving for me and you don't have to get anything on your hands!

Shower Power is a depilatory cream that comes in a 13 oz. pump container, that retails for about $8.99 and is made so that it will stay on while you are in the shower, so you don't have to wait so long before hopping in.  It comes with a sponge that is used to apply the cream and also a grooved side that helps to remove cream/hair after the recommended time has passed.  The pump bottle also has a clip to keep the product from drying out.  This product is still a bit messy even though a sponge is included to help with application.

Last but not least is the Ultimate Roll-On Wax, which has 3.9 oz roll on wax, one washable applicator, and ten reusable cloth strips.  It retails for about $10.00.  You put in the microwave for about 25 seconds and then apply one strip at a time and pull off hair with the cloth.  This method takes the longest and is not pain free.  I've been told by someone who waxes regularly that the more you do it, the less it hurts.  I have never been one to be a regular user.  I prefer the pain free methods.

All of these products did the job and left my skin super smooth and soft.  The results lasted days longer than shaving too.  No stubble the next day!  If you go to the Nair website, you can get a coupon for your next purchase.
