Nellie and Dixie have been enjoying three flavors of natural paleo dog treats from I'd Rather Be With My Dog.  They don't have a favorite, they eat all three eagerly and it is very hard to get the camera ready before the treat is gone - as you can see in the photo of Dixie!  It just looks like she has a big grin on her face.   They are easy to chew, which is a must for Nellie since she has nubs for teeth.  I believe the girls would like for me to keep these stocked up for their snack time.

I like that they are made with healthy ingredients, so it is safe for the girls to eat.  The treats are made in the USA, are grain and gluten free, have coconut oil and do not contain soy, dairy, or corn.  I have to say, the salmon treats stink.  You can definitely tell it has fish in it. The flavors available include:
  • Duck Bites
  • Venison Bites
  • Salmon Bites
  • Diet restricted Paleo treats -  including joint health, skin and coat health, digestive health, and more
A 5 oz. bag retails for $9.99 and 12 oz. bags retail for $14.99.  You can purchase these healthy treats at their website, with free shipping in the U.S.

They also have a clothing line that is being test marketed at Macy’s in Chicago, with t-shirts, hoodies, tanks and more. Another thing I like about this company is that they give 10 percent of sales each month to a different animal rescue organization.

The company is based in Agawam, Massachusetts and Atlanta, GA, and was started by a musician, who came up with the company name from a song he was writing.  That is different from many stories I have heard about businesses starting up.  For more information, visit the website idratherbewithmydog.net.
