Pads Are For Bunnies, Poise is For LBL

Having a good laugh with friends, exercising, sneezing, coughing... all of these can cause light bladder leakage. My biggest one is sneezing, which happens whenever I'm around dust.  So if I am cleaning, I do a lot of sneezing.  I have had to change my clothes many times because of this.  One day MH asked me what I was doing and I told him I peed my pants.  He just looked at me with a strange expression on his face.  It was embarrassing but after I told him that day, I no longer felt so bad about it.

I had been using pantyliners or my thin pads off and on to keep my clothes dry but decided to get a sample of Poise and see how well they worked for me.  It is so nice to try out a product before buying to see if it will work and if you will like it.  I was definitely satisfied with the results.  Not only are the Poise Thin-Shape pads super comfortable, they are up to 40% thinner than the original Poise pads.

The sides have an elastic feel that flexes and move with you and thanks to the Super Absorbent Material (or SAM), they protect and keep you dry - with no leaks.  I also noticed it seems to help with odor more than pads and pantyliners do.  One last thing I like, each thin-shape pad comes individually wrapped in a cloth like wrapper, so it doesn't make a ton of noise when you are opening it.

So, what did I do with my old pads and pantyliners?  I recycled them into a fun craft... a bunny, which makes me think of dust bunnies, sneezing, LBL.  You get the idea.  I used 3 pads and just fitted them together to make a shape similar to a bunny.  Cut out the ears, colored in the features - I used pink nail polish for the ears and nose - and then finished it with four cotton balls for the feet.  I thought it was kind of cute.  With a little practice, I could probably make it look better, but I might think of something else to create instead.  What would you do with your old period pads?

Did you know that weak pelvic floor muscles, pregnancy, childbirth, weight gain, and being overweight are just a few LBL contributors?  Other reasons may be menopause or hysterectomy, stroke, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, problems with surgery and even some food or beverages.  Since 1 in 3 women has light bladder leaks, it makes sense to choose a product created for that problem and works better than period pads.  Request your FREE sample of Poise today and try it out for yourself.
