Trying Out Dr. Bronner's Organic Products

I just recently heard about Dr. Bronner's organic products.  We try to buy and use natural and organic products as much as possible.  Living in a rural area, it is hard at times to find anything like that at our local stores.  Many times I order items online for that reason.

After getting warts that my Dr. seemed to think was caused by touching something that was contaminated, I make sure to use a hand sanitizer whenever I go shopping or anywhere that I have to touch anything that may have those nasty germs, especially pumping gas.

I was happy to receive Dr. Bronner's Lavender Organic Hand Sanitizer to try out.  It comes in a spray bottle that fits perfectly in my handbag, so I am always prepared.  Their products are made with certified fair trade and organic ingredients and include body care, oral care, cleaning, and food.  They are not tested on animals and vegan also.

Four ingredients make up this lavender hand sanitizer:  Organic Fair Trade Ethyl Alcohol, Water, Organic Glycerin, Organic Lavender Oil.  You can also use this as an air freshener!  A 2 oz. spray bottle retails for $4.99 and can be purchased at stores like Whole Foods and Rite Aid or online.  Use the store locator to find locations near you.

If you like lavender scented products then you will enjoy this.  It has a pretty strong scent that lasts for a while after spraying.  It didn't dry my hands out after use either.  I used it a few times to freshen the air in my vehicle since our dogs leave that "dog smell".

I also tried out the Anise All-One Toothpaste, which is fluoride-free and made with 70% organic ingredients:  Organic Glycerin, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hydrated Silica, Calcium Carbonate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Potassium Cocoate (made with Organic Coconut Oil), Organic Illicium Verum (Anise) Seed Oil, Organic Mentha Arvensis (Menthol) Crystals, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Flour, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Organic Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf /Stem Extract.

I love this toothpaste!  It doesn't fill my mouth with foam and leaves my teeth feeling clean and fresh.  I also like that it doesn't taste super sweet and have an aftertaste.  It is available in three flavors - anise, cinnamon, and peppermint and comes in a 5 oz. tube that retails for $6.49.
